いつもたくさんの本とワクワクを乗せて走る「移動図書館車」がリニューアル予定です！みんなの手で図書館車の外装（ラッピング）をデザインするワークショップを開催します。 参加者のみなさんが描いた絵を、鮮やかで生命力あふれる作品が魅力の絵かき・朝倉弘平さんがひとつの素敵なデザインへと仕立て上げ、本物のトラックにラッピングします。「絵を描くのが好き」「本が大好き」「自分の描いた絵が街を走る姿をみたい！」そんな皆さんのご参加をお待ちしています。小さなお子様から大人まで、どなたでも大歓迎です。 みんなの力を合わせて、街を走る移動図書館車を彩りましょう！

The Shiogama City Library's Mobile Van is getting a makeover and you are invited to help design it! An iconic local staple delivering books and the joy of reading to people of all ages across Shiogama City, we are holding a workshop to help design and bring new life for the beloved library van's exterior. Known for his vibrant, dynamic, and free-spirited artworks, Artist ASAKURA Kohei will gather and integrate the drawings created by participants and transform them into a cohesive and unique work to be displayed on the van's new design. If you have a passion for drawing, books, or have an itch to see their own artwork driving through the streets, come join us! Everyone from all ages and backgrounds are invited.

Let’s collaborate and show our collective love for books through color and art in helping bring out new life to Shiogama City's Mobile Library!

プロフィール / Profile

朝倉弘平（あさくら こうへい）/ ASAKURA Kouhei
自然のエネルギーや生き物の息吹を、鮮やかな色彩と独特のタッチで描く人気絵かき。全国各地で壁画制作や子どもたちとのワークショップを手がけ、塩竈では市民らと塩竈市立第二小学校昇降口や塩釜仲卸市場正門の壁画を共同制作している。

Using bright vivid colors and a unique style of expression, this popular artist captures the energy and spirit of nature and the vitality of human beings through his works. He creates murals and conducts workshops with children across Japan. He has collaborated with residents of Shiogama and its surrounding areas to create murals, such as the Shiogama Daini Elementary School Entrance Area, and the main entrance of the Shiogama Seafood Wholesale Market. His mural can also be seen on the West Exit area of JR East Sendai Station.
