只野彩佳は、途方もない世界の中でも、美しい景色の瞬間があり、それを美しいと思うことは明日や未来への希望だったいいます。自身の震災経験をもとに描かれるのは、変化や失われる中にある希望、痕跡を拾い集め新たな風景です。彼女の景色には、世界がきらめいて見えた時の空気や、積み重なる時間がおさめられています。 本展では、近年只野が関心のある北の大地をはじめとする静かで寂しくも温かな情景を描いた作品やF130号の新作を含めた12点を展示します。

While the state of the world may sometimes feel overwhelming, artist TADANO Ayaka believes that amidst the chaos, we can find the beauty in our surroundings if we pause and take a look around us. She says that acknowledging that beauty gives us hope, the strength to move on and take a leap forward into tomorrow.

Derived from her experience living through natural disasters such as earthquakes and loss, she composes new landscapes and captures its beauty. You can experience how she captures traces of hope through the colors expressed in her paintings, and how it seems to glimmer and shine on their own.

Featured in this exhibition is a total of twelve artworks which depict landscapes that may seem tranquil and solitary at first, yet give a sense of solace and warmth. These scenes take inspiration from the northern lands, a place that has sparked the artist's interest in recent years, and according to her, has provided a feeling of comfort, joy, and security.

2016年　武蔵野美術大学 造形学部 日本画学科卒業
2018年　東京藝術大学 大学院 美術研究科 芸術学専攻 美術教育 修士課程修了
2023年　雪梁舎美術館の支援を受けフィレンツェに滞在、Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze留学（3月~6月）

Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1992.
Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese Painting at the College of Art and Design at Musashino Art University in 2016.
Completed a Master’s Degree in Art and Education – Aesthetics and Art History at the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018.
Supported by the Setsuryosha Museum of Arts for a stay in Florence, Italy and studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze from March to June, 2023.
Recipient of the FACE2022 Award from the Yomiuri Shimbun and the Florence Grand Prize at the 23rd Sekryousha Florence Award Exhibition, both in 2021.
