秩序ある即興のパターン化をテーマに、見てきたものや聞いたことからのインスピレーションや情景を線や面の構成して表現するオダユウジの新作を含むペインティング、ドローイング、花瓶を展示します。

Tokyo-based painter ODA Yuji will be exhibiting his latest works at Birdo Space. He is active in a wide range of fields, including mural painting, live painting events, and painting workshops.

"直線と曲線、それぞれの持つリズムがさまざまなオブジェクトを生み出し、 「絵」を構成している。
それらは、隣り合い、重なり合い、
時にぶつかりながらも互いに関係を築きながら、
なるべく秩序と調和が取れるように、
いろいろなやり取りを経て形成されていく。
それは、今の社会と似てる気もするし、まったく違うかもしれない。

ただ、どうせ出来てしまった「絵」なのだから
せめて調子のいい「世界」が広がっていてほしい。"

オダユウジ・ODA Yuji

1981年生まれ　東京都出身。秩序ある即興のパターン化をテーマに、見聞きしたこと、コミュニケーションの中から受けたインスピレーションや情景を線や面の構成で表現している。 国内外での壁画制作や作品発表をはじめ、フェスやイベントでのライブペイント、ペイントワークショップ。そのほか、書籍、音楽、ファッションなど様々なジャンルのアートワークを手がける。

Born in Tokyo. in 1981. With the theme of patterned orderly improvisation, he expresses inspirations and scenes received from what he sees, hears, and communicates with others, through the composition of lines and surfaces. In addition to creating murals and exhibiting his works in Japan and abroad, he has been involved in live painting at festivals and events, painting workshops, and other artworks in various genres, including books, music, and fashion.
