塩竈市では、幅広い年齢層における地域交流を深め、地域コミュニティの活性化を図ることや、塩竈地域への郷土愛を育むことを目的にアートプロジェクト事業を実施しています。令和７年度は、アーティスト・オダユウジさんと一緒に、塩竈をテーマにしたウェルカムサイン（看板）をつくります。こどもから大人まで楽しめるペイント体験です。

また同日、完成したウェルカムサインの前で、塩竈ゆかりのHIPHOPグループ wow a go（うわあご）のライブを開催します。ぜひ、マリンゲートにて塩竈を感じる1日をお過ごしください。

With the goals of fostering meaningful connections among residents of all ages and backgrounds, giving new life to local neighborhoods and communities, and igniting a deeper appreciation for the greater Shiogama area and its surroundings, the Shiogama City administration is implementing various art, creative, and cultural projects.

For Fiscal Year 2025, the City will be working with artist ODA Yuji to create a Shiogama-themed welcome signboard together with youth and adults in the form of a painting workshop to be held in the morning.

Later that day, there will be a live performance to be held in front of the completed welcome sign by wow a go, a hip-hop group with members who have strong connections to Shiogama and the local community. All events will be held at Marine Gate, Shiogama’s public marine transportation port space.

Come spend the day immersing yourself in art and culture from the ground up and experience Shiogama’s unique charm and character that people deeply admire.

小田佑二　オダユウジ　ODA Yuji

秩序ある即興のパターン化をテーマに、見てきたものや聞いたことからのインスピレーションや情景を線や面の構成して表現している。六本木アートナイト、GOOUT CAMP、FUJI ROCK FESTIVALなど、イべントでのライブペイントや国内外での壁画制作・作品発表をはじめ、書籍、音楽、ファッションなど様々なジャンルのアートワークを手がける。

With the theme of patterned orderly improvisation, he expresses inspirations and scenes received from what he sees, hears, and communicates with others, through the composition of lines and surfaces. In addition to creating murals and exhibiting his works in Japan and abroad, he has been involved in live painting at festivals and events, painting workshops, and other artworks in various genres, including books, music, and fashion. Some have included Roppongi Art Night, GOOUT CAMP, and FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL.

wow a go（うわあご）

d.a.b.d.e(ダビデ)、guineapiggg(ギニピグ)、トンボの股間(トンボノコカン)からなる仲良しおじさんラッパー3人組が、1年間遊びに遊んだ結果、更に遊び、楽しみ尽くすべく結成したグループ、通称 wow a go(うわあご) デザイナー SENZ ONEや、ビートメイカー Sota-low、Ryuta muramatsuの援護射撃を受け楽曲、アルバム、グッズ制作に只今邁進中。 各種サブスクにて楽曲配信、YouTube上に楽曲「パァ」のMVを掲載中。

After spending time enjoying each other’s good company, experienced rappers d.a.b.d.e (David), guineapiggg, and Tombo no Kokan, decided to pursue and enjoy creating music together, creating a group now known as “wow a go.”

With support from designer SENZ ONE, beatmakers Sota-low, and Ryuta MURAMATSU, the group has been busy creating songs, albums, and original merchandise.

Their latest single, called 「パァ (Paa)」, can be seen on YouTube, while their music is available on various streaming music services.
