「植物たちを見ていると、はっとさせられることがあります。ある時は、ひそひそと楽しそうに会話をしていたり、踊っていたり、微笑んでいたり、とてものびのびと力強く自由です。 また、誰かと一緒に食べるということは日々の生活をより楽しくするものです。」 気鋭の陶芸家・野田夏実による初個展。「ネオごはん」では、会話のきっかけとなるコミュニケーションツールとしてのうつわを提案します。 本展では、その時の会話や季節、見ていた景色、音も一緒に記憶するうつわを目指しながら制作した新作を含む作品を展示します。 An emerging ceramic artist, Natsumi Noda creates ceramic works as a communication tool to open conversations. In this exhibition “Neo Gohan,” called “Neo Dinner ”in English, she wishes her works to spark conversations surrouding of the concept of the dinner table. Noda takes inspirations from nature in her works. She shares,“I think that plants fascinate me a lot. They seem to like to enjoy themselves whispering, dancing, and smiling. They also seem free and powerful in a fulfiling way. In the same way that plants enjoy themselves, having dinner with someone else also makes your life more enjoyable and memorable.”

野田夏実 Natsumi Noda
1992年東京都出身、山形在住。
2018年東北芸術工科大学芸術学部美術科工芸コース卒。 2017年伊丹国際クラフト展入選、2018年第57回日本クラフト展奨励賞、2018年東北芸術工科大学卒業制作展優秀賞受賞。人との関わりを大切にしながら、会話のきっかけとなるようなコミュニケーションツールとしての器を制作する。
Born in Tokyo, 1992, living in Yamagata. Graduated from Tohoku University of Art and Design. Nominee of the Itami International Crafts Award in 2017. Honorable mention Awardee of the 57th Japan Crafts Exhibition. Grand Prize Awardee of Tohoku University of Art and Design Grad Show in 2018.
As treasuring the bonds with other people, Noda creates ceramic works as a communication tool to open conversations.
