FUN FUN TOURS: A Ceramics Exhibition by Imustan & Natsumi Noda

Exhibition Introduction

Centered around the theme of a “Fun Tour on the Table”, Natsumi Noda reveals a story about travel and encounter in this exhibition, as expressed in her colorful variety of ceramic works.

Her works depict humorous characterizations of various plants and fruits, which in turn, expresses the feeling of both vitality and freshness — both of these feelings she often experiences in her travels into the fictional country of Imustan, which also happens to be the name of her pottery brand.

These feelings are channeled and featured in her mugs, plate saucers, bowls in the Imustan series, and ready for the next person to experience.
